New service allows a customer to change the name of a registered .NU domain name an unlimited number of times for a single registration fee.
The .NU Domain Ltd, a US based commercial top level domain name registry serving Northern Europe, today announced its new FlexNames service, which allows a customer to change the name of a registered .NU domain name an unlimited number of times for a single registration fee.
.NU Domain developed the new service for its many customers in Nordic nations, where the word 'nu' has the same meaning as the English word 'now'. FlexNames gives web campaigners and advertising agencies, as well as the indecisive and creative, the ability to change domains whenever messages change in web campaigns.
Additional flexibility is supported by a unique feature that reserves the old domain name that has been changed for a period of 45 days, in case the customer changes his mind again. There is a minimum purchase of three domain names to be eligible for the FlexNames service. FlexNames costs $50 Euro per year.
".NU Domain customers often register various domain names for sales, marketing and political campaigns prior to finalizing the exact slogan or tagline for a campaign's Web site," said J. William Semich, founder and CEO of .NU Domain. "With FlexNames, if an organization wants to change the focus of its campaign or if a domain name isn't working as hoped, they can try a variation or completely change it, and, they can change it as often as they wish."
