Company's VoipNow supports service providers with Parallels Automation.
4PSA, a software vendor specialized in applications that run on computer clouds, today announced the Parallels Operations Automation support for their premier Unified Communications (UC) software VoipNow Professional. The company mentions that the integration performed using the APS standard brings communication services closer to hosting companies and service providers that use Parallels' business and operations software.
It explains that the emerging growth in hosted Unified Communications solutions has created challenges for service providers to manage and provision these new services. By integrating its platform with Parallels Operations Automation, the company allows companies to minimize the time to market and the operational costs. VoipNow Professional offers the most comprehensive set of services and at the same time delivers a low total cost of ownership (TCO) for UC. Its scalable architecture with enriched hosted PBX functions, fax, video, IM, conferencing, presence management, web integration, groupware and other enterprise centric features can now be quickly and easily supported by Parallels partners.
"Streamlining processes for service providers is a major focus of our development efforts," stated Mike Ross, President of 4PSA. "We have found that integrating with tools that they are familiar with simplifies and accelerates the adoption of new technologies and services and helps them expand their businesses more quickly," said Ross.
"We are excited to work with 4PSA on their VoipNow software so our Cloud Services Providers can offer VoipNow to help their small business customers unify their data, voice and collaboration applications," said Nick Lallas, VP Cloud Services, Parallels. "4PSA's VoipNow Professional supplies Unified Communications in a comprehensive, yet simple manner, so small businesses benefit from new features while reducing their operational costs."
