A2 Hosting, a linux website hosting provider, today announced their VPS hosting packages now come with the option to be managed with the cPanel control panel. The company says that VPS hosting is an environment that is created by taking a server and dividing it into multiple, smaller segments called virtual private servers. It claims that the VPS packages offered by it allow their customers to host their website in an environment that is much like dedicated server hosting at a lower cost.

The company explains that cPanel is a control panel with resources to simplify the administration of a web hosting account. It offers tools for easy management of domains, email, files, ftp, cgi scripts, backups. It states that it will even assist in the initial cPanel configuration for a one-time fee for less experienced customers. Fantastico, a script that auto-installs a wide range of web software can also be added to cPanel VPS accounts, it adds.

A2 Hosting CEO Bryan Muthig commented on the release of cPanel VPS Hosting: ''When referring to webmasters who host their websites in a VPS environment, you are generally looking at very experienced users.
