New features to augment account security with SMS alerts and provide bulk import facilities.

Afilias, a provider of registry services, today announced new feature enhancements to its Managed DNS Service. The company says that these new service enhancements augment account security with new SMS alerts, and enhance portfolio management with bulk import as well as new folders and groups to manage both domains and users.

According to the company, its Managed DNS service gives organizations peace of mind in ensuring that their Web sites are up 100% of the time.  It claims that its service allows them to manage traffic to any size portfolio of domain names, simply and easily through a Web interface, and relying on a network already proven to support .info and .org.
