New tool based on Alpha Five technology enables users to build and deploy databases and database applications without having to program.

Alpha Software Inc., a Massachusetts based database software provider, recently announced the launch of Data-2-the-Web Builder for MySQL, which enables users to build and deploy databases and database applications without having to program.

Data-2-the-Web Builder for MySQL comes in two components: the Data-2-the-Web for MySQL Builder which is for designing and testing applications locally is free, while the Data-2-the-Web for MySQL Server is priced at $699 but is available at an introductory price of $199 for an unlimited number of users per server.
 
The program enables non-programmers to tie websites to databases and create web-based order entry, contact management, lead tracking and other applications. Also it allows MySQL developers to create web-enabled databases in lesser time as compared to the time currently required to program in languages like PHP, ASP, Perl and JavaScript, claims the company.
