The search engine marketing tool will enable its e-commerce customers to improve search engine rankings.
Aplus.Net, an
Internet solutions provider, yesterday announced the release of a new
marketing tool, e-commerce Booster for Miva Merchant 5 shopping cart
software.
The key purpose of this tool, according to the company, is to
provide Miva users with better website indexing capabilities for
improving their natural search rankings with online search engines such
as Google, Yahoo, and MSN. The e-commerce Booster has several features
for improving search engine marketing like automatic insertion of meta
tags in HTML pages generated by the Miva software, automated submission
of the website to major search engines, and creation of a Google
Sitemap designed for online stores.
The tool allows store owners to better promote their stores by
increasing rankings with various search engines, translating into more
traffic and ultimately into boost in e-sales, says the company. It is
available free of charge for customers with ePro and Maxima hosting
plans.
Aplus.Net also offers other MIVA tools like 'Connectors', enabling
customers to integrate their MIVA-powered online storefronts into the
listings of the most popular mass merchants and directories on the
Internet.
John Martis, EVP of Operations at Aplus.Net comments, "We developed
all aspects of this product in-house, and the reason we chose to focus
on this type of tool is because online exposure is becoming
increasingly vital for online businesses."
