To tap the online website building market more effectively and market the site building service through a reseller channel.
Apollo Hosting, a web hosting provider, recently announced that it has decided to implement Akmin's SiteGalore in an effort to offer a successful website building service to replace its existing site building tool.
Akmin claims that its site builder is a browser-based do-it-yourself website building tool used by large to mid-sized service providers to tap the fast growing online website building market more effectively, and is designed to be a meaningful value-add for the small business user.
According to Apollo Hosting, SiteGalore's multi-level private branding capability will now enable it with a single installation of SiteGalore to market the site building service through a reseller channel and allow these resellers to set up their own branding and pricing for their service or even sign up sub-resellers under them. Apollo Hosting's resellers or sub-resellers do not need to install or configure anything. SiteGalore thus provides reduced maintenance, greater control and a significant lowering of the total cost of ownership.
Prashanth, CEO, Akmin Technologies says, "Unlike the domain or hosting business which has become highly commoditized, the success or failure of any site building service depends entirely on the choice of the site building tool. Given the competitive environment, choosing the wrong tool for your site building service could be the biggest mistake you can make for the future of your business."
