Apptix, a provider of on demand, managed messaging and collaboration solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, today launched a new archiving and monitoring service.

The solution is offered through a partnership with Global Relay Communications, a leading provider of outsourced, enterprise-class message archiving, management and compliance services. The company claims that this solution will enable businesses to archive and monitor email and attachments in real-time, includes advanced online search and recovery capabilities, customized rules for detecting keyword and phrase violations within messages and visible message audit trails for compliance logging.

According to the company, another benefit of this end-to-end messaging and archiving solution is that by uniting Apptix's hosted Exchange environment together with Global Relay's mirrored data centers, the combined messaging services provide backup redundancy for business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
