Security management suite provides enhanced configuration options and support for the Linux 2.6 Kernel.
Astaro Corp., yesterday released the latest version of its Astaro Security Linux Unified Threat Management software.
Astaro Security Linux 6.0 is a network security software package that provides a suite of tools, all managed from a single management interface. The suite includes firewall, virus protection, intrusion protection, spam protection, spyware protection, surf protection (content filtering) and VPN. According to Astaro, the new version adds improved protection for Voice over Internet Protocol communications, increased protection from 'zero-day attacks,' enhanced configuration options, and support for the Linux 2.6 Kernel.
Astaro Security Linux V6 software will be available from July 1, 2005 and the pricing starts at $330 for a base license for 10 users.
