IronPath Networks and NSI Hosting moved operations to the new facility to enhance current offerings and better serve the Maryland market.
Baltimore Technology Park (BTP), a data center provider in Maryland, today announced that it has signed contracts with two new customers, IronPath Networks and NSI Hosting.
Both companies have signed multi-year contracts with the BTP and are moving operations from the Northern Virginia area to Baltimore. IronPath Networks currently provides bandwidth options and Internet connectivity to help establish and expand their clients' online presence.
"We chose BTP over the competition due to their carrier-neutral focus, purpose-built facility and the flexibility to accommodate us expanding our space as our needs grow," said Douglas Stanley, Co-founder of IronPath Networks. "The ability to set up an on-site NOC at BTP was also an attractive benefit."
While NSI Hosting provides hosting and advanced data services on a managed services basis. "Northern Virginia is a highly competitive market for a hosting company, and we had limited room for growth," said Thomas Gervais, Chief Operating Officer of NSI Hosting.
"We are excited to have IronPath Networks and NSI Hosting as customers and look forward to adding many more to our client roster," said Thomas Cunningham, President of BTP. "The partnership not only allows both companies to easily expand their infrastructure footprint in Maryland, it will also provide additional resources for Maryland companies requiring better data center solutions."
