BT announced today that BT Global Services, its business services and solutions division serving customers worldwide, has been listed in the leader quadrant in Gartners 2003 Pan-European Web Hosting Magic Quadrant published on September 9th.

The evaluation is based on "ability to execute" and "completeness of vision". Gartner's Pan-European Web Hosting Magic Quadrant covers all providers of business Web hosting services, including those offering co-location of servers, simple shared and fully managed Web hosting. The evaluation took into account performance, product and pricing strategy, technology exploitation, financial and corporate stability, and other assessment criteria.

Catherine Hawley, senior vice-president of applications management and hosting at BT Global Services, said: "As this research illustrates, customers' top priorities when it comes to choosing a hosting provider should include flexible service provision, reliability and financial stability; we believe BT offers all three.
