Immediately prior to joining C I Host, Godfrey owned a successful general litigation practice in Dallas, representing various clients in business, corporate, commercial and personal matters. His recent cases include matters of breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, fraud and negligent misrepresentation. Previously, Godfrey practiced law in Denton, and previously served two terms as Judge of Denton County Court At Law #3. He also has direct experience in the business world, serving as vice president and general manager of the Lafayette, La.,

Godfrey received a law degree from Baylor University School of Law after earning a bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Texas at Arlington. Godfrey will fill a position left open at C I Host after the tragic, untimely death of previous counsel James Hill.
