C I Host offers new colocation customers devices through which they can reboot frozen servers from home, office and car.
C I Host, a web hosting and Internet solutions provider, annouced today that it is offering free remote reboot devices to all new colocation customers, including family colocation on a single server, open rack (half and full), secure private rack (half and full) and private data suites.
The Remote Power Cycling (RPC) hardware monitors current, voltage, power and temperature ensuring that all servers have reliable power and preventing any potential overload situations. The RPC units report back on the status of any power outlet (on, off, rebooting), and provide a response to indicate that any commands the customer issued were acknowledged and completed.
"C I Host's remote power control and reboot devices provide every customer with a reliable, cost effective way to restart 'locked-up' equipment at any C I Host data center," stated Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host and added "Customers can reboot from any Internet-connected device, 24x7, in the convenience of their home, office or car."
