Chrysanth NETime Channel v. 3.0 toolbar formats RSS, RDF, and ATOM Feeds to readable web pages in the browser directly.
Chrysanth Software, a Malaysian software development company, released Chrysanth NETime Channel v. 3.0, an Internet Explorer add-in to view RSS, RDF, and ATOM feeds from inside the browser.
The NETime Channel toolbar, once installed in the Internet Explorer browser, displays properly formatted content from the RSS feed, instead of displaying nearly-unreadable raw XML file. NETime Channel reads blogs directly from authors' web sites and converts RSS, RDF, or ATOM feeds into formatted web pages. The program supports all three RSS viewing modes: summary, listing, and detail views.
The other option is to read the feeds online by setting up an account on their website, adding favorite RSS feeds to NETime Channel's subscription list and the program will automatically visit each favorite blog site and collect the latest data. NETime Channel can even monitor GMail RSS feed and alert when any new emails are received.
Both the Internet Explorer add-in and the online service are free, with no adware or spyware.
