Customers will now gain access to their dedicated server to install and run applications, and troubleshoot all the way down to a BIOS-level.

Cirrus Tech Ltd, a web hosting company, today announced that it is offering 'complete control' of its dedicated servers to clients through KVM over IP technology. The company states that by purchasing all its Intel Dedicated Servers with KVM over IP hardware pre-installed, it is providing this feature at a low cost with minimal set-up time. Further it states that with KVM over IP added on to any Intel Dedicated Server Plan, clients will be able to have remote access to their dedicated server to install and run applications, and troubleshoot all the way down to a BIOS-level.

Ali Mirdamadi, Product Director at Cirrus Tech, explains, "Connecting through Windows Remote Desktop, SSH, or other remote console software is sufficient for most of our dedicated server clients. However, we have clients that require access to their dedicated server to a hardware level. Our KVM over IP solution allows for this level of access."
