Entry-level shared plans now start at $2.99 per month when prepaid for 24 months.
CirtexHosting, a provider of shared and reseller multiple domain Linux web hosting solutions, today announced it has introduced a new plan structure. The changes are designed to allow the company to serve a wider variety of customers and sustain a higher level of service.
With the new structure, entry-level shared plans now start at $2.99 per month when prepaid for 24 months. The Professional plan, which includes 30,000MB of disk space and 1,500 of monthly data transfer, now starts at $12.99 per month. All plans include unlimited email, domain and FTP features.
Existing customers will not automatically be upgraded to the new pricing structure, but can choose to do so. In addition to the new plan structure, the company also announced that it has introduced support for ASP applications on its Linux servers. With the new ASP support, which is available at no additional charge on all plans, developers can easily integrate their applications with Microsoft's .NET Framework for web services.
The company will also support Subversion, an open source version control system. With Subversion, developers can more easily keep track of changes to software projects. Subversion is available to all customers at no additional charge.
"Our new pricing structure reflects our continued efforts to further develop our core capabilities, including technical support and network performance. By structuring our services in configurations that best suit the unique needs of our small business customers, many of whom are developers, we hope to in turn provide an overall more targeted hosting experience. Our end goal is to provide the best service we can, and ultimately differentiate our company in a very competitive market,” said CirtexHosting President John Xie.
