Company announces general availability of Hercules Security Appliance for enterprise vulnerability management and compliance solutions.

Citadel Security Software Inc., a provider of enterprise vulnerability management and security policy compliance solutions, recently announced the general availability of the Hercules Security Appliance, an enterprise vulnerability management suite.

The Hercules Security Appliance is an all-in-one, rack-mountable appliance that offers Citadel's full suite of vulnerability management solutions including Hercules Compliance Manager and Hercules Remediation pre-configured and ready to deploy within any organization.

According to the company, with its Hercules Security Appliance, organizations can receive the benefit of security compliance and enforcement along with vulnerability assessment and remediation. Citadel's Security-On-Demand usage-based pricing model allows customers to deploy the full Hercules offering and pay for the number of remediations or compliance audits performed.

The Hercules Security Appliance is currently available directly from Citadel and will be available through Citadel's network of Secure Channel Partners consisting of regional and national security services providers who resell security products to complement their existing security, networking and consulting services. Customers may choose from several plans to suit their business needs - Security-On-Demand, Subscription, Perpetual licensing.
