A technologically advanced seal that can be embedded in websites to authenticate business identities.
Comodo, a provider of Identity and Trust Assurance Management solutions, announced today that its Corner of Trust Seal, a technologically advanced seal that can be embedded in websites to authenticate business identities, has been used to help promote millions of online transactions since its introduction in 2006.
With the purchase of a Comodo high assurance SSL or EV SSL certificate, eMerchants can display the Corner of Trust, which details the eMerchants Comodo-verified identity in a highly conspicuous and easily accessible fashion to all site visitors, without forcing them to click away to another website to access these credentials.
Driven by the company's 'Point to Verify' technology, consumers simply roll their computer mouse over the Corner of Trust seal, to reveal the company's key credentials. The Corner of Trust's fixed position offers an additional benefit to both site owners and visitors by maintaining its location on the bottom right-hand corner of designated web pages, making it easy to place and hard to miss.
"A padlock symbol is an important icon of trust, but, by adding Corner of Trust, site visitors can establish an even higher level of trust with the sites they are visiting. This advanced verification methodology allows online businesses to quickly and easily offer consumers proof of authenticity enabling them to maintain loyalty and trust among consumers," said Melih Abdulhayoglu, CEO and Chief Security Architect of Comodo.
