Robert P. Cichon was responsible for the deployment of the Intranet portal infrastructure at American Express.

Newtek Business Services, Inc., a provider of business services and financial products to the small to medium-sized business market, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary CrystalTech Web Hosting has named Robert P. Cichon as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Cichon joined CrystalTech after five years at American Express Company, where he recently was Acting Director in charge of portal, search and content management infrastructure managing multiple projects. Although he was most recently responsible for the deployment of the Intranet portal infrastructure at American Express, he has also developed business and technology expertise in the online credit and debit card application systems and American Express Merchant services interactive platforms. He comes to Newtek with vast experiences managing multi million dollar budgets supporting several diverse intercontinental teams.
