DataPipe, a managed hosting provider, announced today that it has acquired the San Jose Data Center of AboveNet, Inc, a provider of connectivity solutions.
DataPipe and AboveNet have developed a transition plan that is designed to ensure that customers experience no interruption in service and have continuity in operational and administrative processes. DH Capital, LLC served as exclusive financial advisor to DataPipe in connection with this transaction, says the company.

"This is truly a world class facility and is home to 5 of the 15 most visited websites in the world." Allen added that DataPipe is adding a significant revenue stream as a result of the acquisition.
