Enhances security with the launch of FTP Stop/Start tool and an FTP Whitelist/Blacklist tool.

DiscountASP.NET, a provider of windows hosting, today announced enhancements in security with the launch of a suite of new FTP management tools on their Windows 2008 hosting platform.

The company explains that the FTP Stop/Start tool allows customers to stop and start their FTP service. The FTP IP Restriction tool allows customers to manage an IP whitelist or IP blacklist for FTP service. Finally, the FTP Session tool displays all live FTP connections to a customer's site and allows the customer to disconnect any of the FTP sessions in real time.
