DiscountASP.NET, a windows hosting provider, today announced the launch of Microsoft DBManager and AdminPack IIS Manager UI extensions in public beta for their Windows 2008 hosting customers. The company states that along with the launch of Windows 2008 and Internet Information Services 7.0 (IIS7), Microsoft introduced IIS Manager, a new IIS tool which provides users with a familiar user interface to remotely manage IIS7 server configurations. The company adds that using IIS Manager, its customers can view settings and manipulate their web.config files for features that have been delegated to them.
