Offers free hosting for developers to experience web application deployment using Microsoft Web Deployment Tool.

DiscountASP.NET, a provider of windows hosting, and Microsoft, a provider of software, today announced a partnership to provide a free sandbox hosting program for testing the Microsoft Web Deployment Tool. The company states that this program is designed for developers to get early experience with and provide feedback on web application packaging and deployment scenarios.

It explains that the free Web Deployment Tool sandbox hosting program is offered as an open beta and is limited to the first 2000 people who register, further it explains that the beta hosting account comes with 50 MB of disk space and 50 MB of SQL Server 2008 database space.
