After .fr, .im, .in ccTLDs, .cm is to compliment the company's portfolio expansion.
Domainmonster.com, a domain name registration brand, today announced their accreditation for .cm Domain Name, prior to the public release of second level registrations on 13th July 2009.
The company says that joining recent accreditations for .fr (France), .im (Isle of Man) & .in (India), this recent accreditation complements its ccTLD (Country Code Top Level Domains) expansion.
It states that it will be launching its services to the public on 15th July 2009. In addition to that, the pre-orders will be accepted from 13th July 2009.
''This could potentially be one of the biggest ccTLD launches ever,'' said Matt Mansell, CEO, Domainmonster.com. ''Direct Navigation ('Type-In' traffic) is said to account for 1 in 6 visitors to a web site, and .cm is as close as a domain is ever going to get to .com. Brand owners and consumers alike will be keen to protect traffic that directly navigates to their site, especially when this traffic converts to sales at twice that delivered via a search engine,'' continued Mansell.
