Plans to auction 15 premium names including airfare, areacodes, cam, casinos,eat and other names at the T.R.A.F.F.I.C WEST 2007 conference in March.

dotMobi, the official registry for the .mobi domains, yesterday announced the auction of 15 premium names. On March 7th, 2007, the registry plans to auction a select group of domains at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. WEST 2007 in Las Vegas. The .mobi names scheduled for auction are airfare, areacodes, cam, casinos, creditscore, directions, eat, libre, loancalculator, models, newmusic, pics, pizza, realestate and singles. This selection of names is subject to change at the registry's discretion.

The dotMobi Premium Names list is a compilation of commonly used words and phrases which has been set aside for equitable allocation as an alternate to the traditional first come, first serve procedure. These names will be distributed in batches through 2008 using both auction and Request for Proposals (RFP) processes.
