The new range of Linux VPS plans to satisfy the needs of small businesses as well as those of large corporations.

Easy CGI, a web hosting company, announced a full range of five dedicated VPS plans for customers operating in Linux environments.

The company avers that until now it has been offering Windows Server hosting exclusively. However, as of May 10th, it has started offering Linux hosting solutions as well. The plans closely match those offered to its Windows environment customers. Their range of Linux VPS plans can be used by not only small businesses but also by large corporations.

All five of Easy CGI's dedicated Linux VPS plans guarantee a limited number of virtual servers for each hardware node, each client a greater share of processor time, RAM, and disk space.

Dedicated virtual private servers (VPS) create multiple, independent virtual servers, each with its own operating system and other software, on a single, partitioned physical server. Easy CGI's Linux-based VPS customers can now enjoy the benefits of private hosting at less cost than having their own dedicated servers, says the company.
