New Unify Report Manager designed to help businesses enforce AD standardization.

Ensim Corporation, a provider of change management, user provisioning and access control software, today announced the release of Ensim Unify Report Manager, which helps administrators generate a variety of reports on Active Directory objects including users, groups and contacts.

The company states that Active Directory is a mission critical application that is a central point for an organization's software infrastructure. Ensim Unify Report Manager provides a reporting framework that can easily provide a snapshot of various AD objects, helping users to plan processes and maintenance procedures. Report Manager reveals non-compliant objects, helping administrators enhance their standards and policies, and can isolate Active Directory misconfigurations to prevent downtime and maintenance overhead.

It further explains that with pre-configured reports and the ability to easily configure custom reports, Unify Report Manager can be used as part of the compliance audit toolset to identify objects that do not meet regulatory requirements or that violate security policies. Administrators can quickly extract information for scenarios including disabled and/or locked out users, or users who do not meet password complexity requirements. All reports are available through a web-based interface and can be plugged in to any web-part enabled portal.
