Opsware Inc., a provider of IT automation and utility computing software, yesterday announced that Equinix, Inc., a provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, has selected Opsware Network Automation System (NAS) to manage and audit its exchange services within the company's U.S. Internet Business Exchange centers.

According to Equinix, the scalability, ease-of-use and technical superiority of Opsware NAS will enable it to further increase the reliability of its peering and exchange services. Opsware will ensure that Equinix continues its reliability and service uptime by simplifying management of complex exchange infrastructure, improving network availability, enforcing compliance, and ensuring network security.
