Merger to help Equivity expand its Internet presence; terms of the merger were not disclosed.
Equivity LLC., a web presence provider, recently announced that it has merged with three other locally owned and operated hosting companies within Daytona Beach, Florida.
The merger will allow for the expansion of the Web Services department of the company. Terms of the merger were not disclosed. It is said Equivity will remain the parent company, while the hosting division of Equivity will change its name to PlanetHTTP. Chris Baker will remain the Chief Executive Officer while Paul Conrad has been named Chief Technology Officer. Jackson Reese has been named the Vice President of Sales and Alex Lynch the Vice President of Web Services.
"These companies are a perfect match for each other. Equivity was able to build a successful presence by providing a great product and outstanding customer service. With this merger, we will be able to continue our growth while we increase the services we offer and enhance our support department," said Chris Baker, Equivity's Chief Executive Officer.
