Becomes the first US-based hosting provider to offer F-Secure's antivirus solution; protects its Windows and Linux servers from viruses, trojans and worms.
F-Secure today announced that The Planet, a hosting provider based in the US, will add F-Secure antivirus solutions to its services portfolio, becoming the first to offer this security service in the US market.
The company says that, F-Secure's security software will protect The Planet's Windows servers now and Linux servers shortly from Internet threats as viruses, trojans and worms. It will allow The Planet's customers to subscribe for a monthly fee to the antivirus services.
