Fasthosts Internet Ltd, a web hosting company, today rolled out an offer that provides 'Buy One, Get One Free' on domain names registered until 31 August 2008. The company avers that new or existing customers who register a .com domain, will receive a free .co.uk registration for 2 years. It claims that the offer is an opportunity for small businesses and organisations to expand their visibility online and better protect their brand identity for free. The company further says that it has used its economies of scale, as home to more websites than any other UK provider, to pass savings onto its users.

It articulates that customers simply register any .com domain registration before 31 August 2008 and receive a 2 year .uk domain registration of their choice (such as .co.uk) absolutely free. The deal is the latest effort from the company to make effective web usage more affordable for smaller players.
