Takes-over Mad4Milk, developers of moo.fx javascript effects library; also launches Freewebs Farms, a new online community for developers.
Freewebs.com, a web hosting firm, today announced that it has acquired Rome-based Mad4Milk.net, developers of moo.fx javascript effects library used by developers to insert Web 2.0 elements into any website.
Concurrent to this acquisition, Freewebs today also announced that it has launched Freewebs Farms, a new online community and collective for developers interested in helping to create a better user experience on the Internet. The tool is cross-browser and standards-compliant and provides a framework for modifying every aspect of any webpage element, like the height, width, or opacity. New widgets based on the technology will soon be available to Freewebs active users, says the company.
