Fresh Look Hosting, a UK based virtual hosting services and solutions provider, recently announced the availability of MySQL 5 on all of its hosting plans.

The company said that MySQL 4.1 is still being offered as standard, however any client wishing to utilise MySQL 5 could do so by following a process.

"The introduction of MySQL 5 is just a small step towards our goal of  bringing the most up to date technologies to our clients. We are already  offering the option of switching between PHP 4 and PHP 5 in real-time,  so the introduction of MySQL 5 compliments that perfectly," said William Nisbet, Managing Director of Fresh Look Hosting.
