A Fusepoint board member since 2004, Mr. Kerns most recently served as President and CEO of Digex, a provider of managed enterprise hosting services.

The Board of Directors of Fusepoint Managed Services Inc., a provider of outsourced infrastructure and application solutions, yesterday announced the appointment of George Kerns as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Kerns recently served as President and CEO of Digex, a provider of managed enterprise hosting services acquired by MCI in late 2003. According to John Ward, General Partner, M/C Venture Partners and Fusepoint board member, George is well known in the managed services industry as a leader who strengthens operations, drives customer value, and ultimately takes organizations to their next level of growth. His intimate knowledge of Fusepoint and the overall market, combined with an unwavering dedication to delivering results, will propel the company forward at an accelerated pace.
