Offerings claim to deliver reliable Microsoft Exchange email systems to businesses while reducing costs.
Fusepoint Managed Services, a provider of outsourced IT services and managed applications, yesterday announced the availability of new Microsoft Exchange services designed to simplify business-class e-mail, public folders, calendaring, and collaboration.
Fusepoint is offering Dedicated Exchange Service, an Exchange solution (500+ email boxes) tailored to a business' specific requirements, on a dedicated platform and Hosted Exchange Service, a packaged solution that can be deployed to meet the messaging needs (25-500 email boxes) of small and mid-size organizations. The company claims that it will become the first Canadian managed services provider to offer services required to host and maintain a communications infrastructure based on Microsoft Exchange.
"It takes ongoing investments in hardware, software, and staffing to keep pace with the growing number of security advisories, viruses, patches, and SPAM. Outsourcing Microsoft Exchange requirements under a 'software-as-a-service' model will not only save money, but also will free up internal IT resources for more strategic business activities," said Robert Offley, president and CEO of Fusepoint Managed Services.
