Announces partnership to help companies easily track and manage SSL certificates.

GeoTrust, Inc., a provider of identity verification solutions for e-business and an issuer of SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates for web security, and CertAlert Software, a digital certificate management solutions provider, recently announced that they are partnering to help companies track and manage SSL certificates.

In addition to allowing GeoTrust to resell the CertAlert software, the partnership allows GeoTrust to use the CertAlert Intelligent Discovery Tool to provide large enterprises with an overview of the deployed SSL certificates within their network environments. CertAlert Manager is an open, standards-based application that provides customers the ability to scan, identify, manage and automate the certificate renewal process. The CertAlert Intelligent Scan Engine can continually scan and monitor an entire network for down hosts, rogue or misconfigured certificates, expiring certificates, licensing issues and manual changes made to SSL certificates.
