Globix claims that its managed hosting service bundles the best-of-breed hardware, security, storage, and monitoring services with ongoing management, making sourcing a hosting solution straightforward and painless. Through this offering, the company has committed itself to helping customers lower IT costs, increase quality, mitigate risk, and improve agility backed up by a Service Level Agreement.
According to the company, the basic configuration includes a server, firewall, operating system configuration and installation, server hardening, patch services, and backup and monitoring services. Additional services include high availability application management, network management, monthly security audits, intrusion prevention and detection services.
