Relocated its 250 servers and switches from hosting facilities in San Jose, to new facilities at 365 Main, in San Francisco.
Global Netoptex, a provider of customer-centric managed services, has relocated its Sun Microsystems 250 servers and switches from hosting facilities in San Jose, to new facilities at 365 Main, a provider of data center facilities, in San Francisco.
GNi also operates the NOC (network operations center), offering onsite services at 365 Main. This is extremely convenient, because it eliminates the need for one of our people driving to and from San Francisco for every problem. If we need GNi to check something inside a cage, their professionals take care of it, explains the company.
"GNi did an excellent job, they transported and set up all our servers, putting them in the correct locations ready for the Sun engineers to reconnect. I expect our vendors to be professional, fast, efficient, and available when we need them. GNi is all that and more," said Chris Bleasby, Operations Manager for Sun Dot Com Engineering.
