Go Daddy Slashes Domain Name Prices

15th September 2005

Customers can now register, transfer or renew domain names for just $1.99 per year when they purchase a non-domain product.

GoDaddy.com, an ICANN accredited registrar, today announced that Go Daddy customers can now register, transfer or renew domain names for just $1.99/year when they purchase a non-domain product.

Available only until September 30, Go Daddy customers can make use of this limited time offer by purchasing one of the several non-domain products, such as web hosting, Secure SSL certificates, e-Commerce ready shopping carts, and more. This new offer also includes a variety of extras, including Go Daddy's complete email product (a $9.95/yr value) which includes a starter Web page, domain forwarding, masking and complete DNS control.

"We're excited to tell the Internet community that the best domain value on the 'Net just got better," said Bob Parsons, President and Founder of Go Daddy. "Since Go Daddy started back in 1999, one of our goals has been to increase the Internet's accessibility for everyone," Parsons added.
