Relocates the servers for SHERLOC, a web-based service that tracks the location of specialized wireless devices, also those based on GPS technology.
GTES, a provider of wireless messaging infrastructure and software,today announced that it has relocated the servers for its SHERLOC Location Services to a data center operated by PEER 1 Network Enterprises , an Internet infrastructure provider.
GTES chose PEER 1 as its Internet infrastructure provider after an extensive evaluation of the available co-location facilities.SHERLOC
is a web-based service that tracks the location of specialized wireless
devices produced by a number of manufacturers, including those based on
the Assisted GPS technologies. The system combines these technologies
with a business-oriented application that scales to meet the needs of
customers.
