Host Department, a web hosting and domain name registration provider, yesterday announced that it is offering free .info domain for every NOLIMIT Developer and Ecommerce plans bought with a minimum of 12-months billing cycle and above.

The company claims that it decided to open this promotion to new customers signing up for their No Limit developer and ecommerce plans only, because of the greater demand in these areas. However, not to limit options, the promotional plans will be available in two billing cycles, 12-months and 24 months. Furthermore, customers buying the 24-months billing option will also have an extra 6-months hosting for free.

"Developers can utilize the .info extension as a testing ground website or an area to host their resumes. The promotion will run till the end of September, but if we find the response to this promotional rate is high, we may extend it further," said O. Hagen, Host Department's Promotion Manager.
