Yap Inc. is centralizing its IT infrastructure in The company's Charlotte data center facility according to the multi-year managed hosting agreement.

Hosted Solutions, the East Coast's data center and managed services provider, has added Yap, the  creators of a speech recognition platform, to their portfolio of Web 2.0 companies. The Charlotte, North Carolina based company provides a service that converts anything anyone says into text, instantaneously. These conversions may be used to support next generation unified messaging and web services applications. The company claims that its IT solution will support Yap's expansion efforts by providing reliability and availability to their telco grade platform and internal infrastructure. The decision utilizes the company's Charlotte data center facility and secure network, and will give Yap access to a their services and infrastructure. The Company states that by providing Yap with an enterprise solution, it has developed great relationships with the forward thinking mobile developers.
