Meetings to be held from 11-15 July; includes a historic Roman wine and event tour and a soccer tournament.

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), recently announced the schedule for its international public meetings to be held in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, from 11th to 15th July 2005.

Amongst the various meetings, is a presentation on .eu by EUrid and a historic roman wine and event tour to The Old City of Trier by Sedo on the 12th. All sessions of the meetings will be webcast.

Interestingly there is also a soccer tournament being held on 13th July, and the hosts are accepting registrations for teams. 4 Teams from Sedo.com, sTLD Allstars, ALAC and GAC have already been registered.

Public Interest Registry, Afilias, Verisign, GDNX and LogicBoxes are some of the sponsors for the event. The event is hosted by the Internet Society Luxembourg, the RESTENA Foundation and the Service des Médias et des Communications. Pre-registration for the Luxembourg meeting is available on the ICANN web site.
