Company to offer R1Soft Continuous Data Protection (CDP) as a backup solution for Linux and Windows clients.
Iguana Hosting, a provider of hosting services throughout Latin America, today announced that they will offer R1Soft Continuous Data Protection (CDP) for Linux and Windows to 35,000 clients as a solid backup solution in order to provide maximum uptime and easy access to mission-critical data.
The company explains that with R1Soft CDP, it gains a number of capabilities including the ability to run high-performance backups frequently, bare-metal restore data, manage all backups from a centralized location and control panel integration. It adds that all its dedicated servers will include 20Gb of free backup space, with the option to increase the space allotment at their convenience.
The company articulates that R1Soft CDP will also be offered as part of managed services under its sister brand G-Conex. G-Conex, which will also features CDP, offers solutions of availability, network scalability and systems infrastructures allowing customers to establish business continuity within the workplace.
