Marc Andreessen, co-founder of Netscape, and Gaurav Dhillon, founder and former CEO of Informatica, join Zend Board of Directors.
Zend Technologies, Inc., the PHP company and creator of products and services supporting the development, deployment and management of PHP-based applications, today announced Marc Andreessen and Gaurav Dhillon as the newest members of the Zend Board of Directors.
Marc Andreessen, Co-founder of Netscape, is currently Chairman and Co-founder of Opsware Inc. Marc is widely recognized for his role in launching the Internet revolution in 1993, with his creation of the Mosaic browser while at the University of Illinois. Marc later became CTO of AOL when the company purchased Netscape in 1999.
Gaurav is the Founder and CEO jaman.com, Inc. Prior to jaman.com, Gaurav spent over a decade as the CEO of Informatica Corporation, a company he co-founded in 1993. He brings comprehensive entrepreneurial expertise to the board, and will assist Zend in attaining its growth objectives as a key player in Internet infrastructure.
