Intermedia.NET, the provider of exchange hosting for small and medium businesses, today announced its base storage space of its Private Label Exchange Hosting has been raised to 500 MB per mailbox.

The company says that the Intermedia.NET private label program has allowed technology VARs and consultants to resell a hosted exchange offering to their customers. The effect of larger mailboxes will be to increase the hosted exchange market overall. They have hundreds of resellers join their program every month, tapping into the demand for email services among small and medium businesses.

Intermedia.NET mentioned that the resellers can sign up online, with no setup fee. Once registered, they can immediately resell an enterprise class hosted exchange offering, running on SAN technology in multiple tier-1 data centers, with backup and recovery strategies. The service includes an advanced control panel through which customers can customize colors, fonts and their own logo, plus support documentation and a suite of rebrandable marketing materials to start sales from the outset.
