Interxion, a provider of carrier-neutral data centres, today announced that Internap Network Services Corporation, a provider of end-to-end Internet business solutions, has expanded its presence in both Interxion's London and Amsterdam data centres. The company claims that since becoming a customer less than a year ago, Internap has increased customer demand in its London facility.
It states that its London data centre provides 2N redundancy configurations as well as density of up to 20kW per cabinet. It also hosts a Point of Presence for the London Internet Exchange (LINX), providing a connectivity environment for customers. The company explains that Internap offers its enterprise clients a package of IP networking, data centre colocation, and content delivery network (CDN) services. It adds that Internap have data centre locations around the world and route-optimized network infrastructure and, they deploys patented MIRO (Managed Internet Route Optimiser) technology to enhance customer data communications.
