New version features improved web interface, and is made available in an ISP version to offer network monitoring as a hosted service.
Paessler, a software firm, recently announced the availability of IPCheck Server Monitor 5.0.
The Windows-based software makes it easy to detect network and website failures early, minimizing downtime and avoiding economic impact. New reporting features, additional sensor types and an improved user interface provide extended functionality and fulfill users' most requested features. IPCheck is now also available in an internet service provider (ISP) version that enables ISPs to offer network monitoring as a hosted service for their customers. A new mobile interface for PocketPC handhelds allows the status of the sensors to be reviewed on the go.
"IPCheck Server Monitor is one of our most popular solutions and we've tried to include as many user requests as possible in this new version," said Dirk Paessler, CEO, Paessler. "The new reporting and monitoring features, along with native user interfaces for several platforms (web browser, Windows, Pocket PC) make network management even easier for our customers."
