Enables customers to get more value out of their Google Enterprise search deployments; introduces the iWay Enterprise Index.

iWay Software, a provider of business integration solutions, yesterday announced that it has joined the Google Enterprise Professional program, which extends the power of Google search and helps customers get more value out of their Google search deployments.

iWay Software has also introduced the iWay Enterprise Index, which brings together iWay's application integration technology and the Google Search Appliance to create a new way to tap information within the integrated enterprise. It taps into an organisation's streams of information, transforms them into more usable and uniform XML-based formats, and prepares them for search by end users. iWay Enterprise Index also provides an additional layer of security that prevents unauthorized people from seeing results that contain information they're not allowed to receive.

The Google Enterprise Professional program includes developers, consultants and independent software vendors who provide value-added services for Google enterprise products.
