On the completion of the first phase expansion, initiates the second phase to expand the new datacenter capacity to house 4000 dedicated servers.
iWeb Group Inc, a provider of web hosting, announced completion of the new data center project.
The first phase of the datacenter expansion project, was started in February with the aquisition of their new building, consisted installation of generators, raised floor, air conditioning system, routers, dark fiber and other data center equipments. The company says that many servers are in operation in the new infrastructures located in Saint-Leonard's industrial park on the island of Montreal.
With the completion of the first phase, iWeb is initiating the second effort in order to expand the new datacenter capacity. The new
phase will increase the data center's capacity to at least 4000 dedicated servers and provide power to fill 135 colocation racks.
